CRITERIA FOR DICTIONARY ENTRIES

- 1,500 words per entry (excluding resource cited and other further works suggestions)
 
- Clear, accessible language with as little jargon as possible.
 
- Structure your entry with the following sections:
 
- Definition and origins of the concept.
 
- Philosophies and practices with examples associated with the concept.
 
- Challenges and opportunities related to its implementation.
 
- Visual example(s) to illustrate the concept (image, videos, photographs, etc.).
 
- References: 3–5 sources cited within the entry.
 
- Further exploration: 3–5 suggested resources for deeper exploration.
 
- Abstract with 200 words summarizing the contribution.
 
 
 
 
 
To contibute an ilustration
 
 
 
1. Select and submit an ilustration. Following the stipulated criteria (below), please send an draft document to the DWG team. Please note that all proposals we’ll be internally reviewed which means that submitting an entry does not guarantee its publication.
 
 
 
2. Internal revision. The ilustration will be reviewed by the DWG team. We will contact you once we have thoroughly reviewed the file.
 
 
 
3. Feedback. After the review, we will reach out to request corrections, additional information, or to make suggestions for improvement.
 
 
 
4. Publication. If all documentation is in order, we will publish the entry in the Dictionary website.
 
 
 
 
 
CRITERIA FOR DICTIONARY ILUSTRATIONS
 
 
 
- Please avoid the use of words (unless absolutly necessary)
 
- Please keep the format in 1:1 dimensions
 
- Please also try to use colors, although balck and white images are also possible.
 
- We accept all kinds of ilutration types, pending approval form the DWG.
